Less than a year ago, I started a joint project with my wife. Starting off was a pleasure and I think the end result is quite satisfactory, although I abmit my wife did most of the real work. I'm not sure about the scale, and the proportions of this human miniature are a bit off, but I really liked how the skin tone turned out.
It'll be a while before I can get him involved in some wargaming but I sleep easier knowing that the bigger projects and longer campaigns I have started have someone who'll finish them ;)

Testing out Silflor tufts
I bought some of the tufts Silflor sells a while back and have been waiting for something to use them on. I painted a goblin catapult model I had lying around so I could stick some tufts and other basing materials on it. What do you think? Too much? I've always had trouble doing realistic looking ground cover on my minis.
I like these tufts, especially the flowering bushes and the yellowish, dry grass.
